what happens to the batteries is below-freezing temperatures. The voltage the battery provides is the result of the chemical reaction happening inside the internal cells. Cold temperatures on the battery, particularly battery at freezing or below with the range of 32°F, slow down that chemical reaction.

1) Address corrosion: This year 2024 in January I replaced close to 20 Batteries and each was bought at the rate of 35k - 38k. I discovered that Corrosion is the most common problem that drains the battery power. So in this season, you need to monitor your battery terminal to fight corrosion, Get hot water and clear the terminal, and apply Engine oil.
2) Warm Your Battery in the Night: extend your battery lifespan by starting your engine to warm up to 5 - 15 minutes in the night in the cold weather, this helps your car battery to recharge, and before daybreak, the temperature of the battery will be in normal starting temperature. Saving your money on battery this season by warming up your battery in the night.
3)Create a warm environment For your car in cold weather most especially at night: I discovered that many cars are picked outside the house, without Car covers or garages. And 20% of cars with battery problems are cars without a Garage to create a warm environment. 2 ways to create a warm environment For your car. 1) Park your car in your garage, and use temperature bulbs. 2) Cover your car overnight.
